During the spring thaw, many rural roads become softer and more vulnerable to damage caused by heavy vehicles, regardless of the number of axles. To help protect the Township’s road network during this period, weight restrictions of five (5) tonnes per axle will be enforced where posted. Half-load restrictions will remain in place until April 30, 2026, unless otherwise communicated.
The Municipal Office will be closed for the Family Day holiday. Garbage and recycling collection will occur as usual, while the Transfer Station will be closed. Residents are also invited to attend the Family Day Frostival events from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Community Centre.
