Asphodel 7th Line, north of Centre Line, will be fully closed on June 17, after morning school bus routes have been completed. The closure may also be required on June 18, weather permitting. The road will reopen daily to accommodate afternoon school bus routes.

The Township wishes to advise residents and businesses of a scheduled water shutdown taking place on Highway 7 on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Township of Asphodel-Norwood adopted an updated Fees and Charges By-law at its Regular Meeting held on May 26, 2026. The updated Fees and Charges By-law will come into effect on June 1, 2026.

The Water & Wastewater Department will be conducting hydrant flushing beginning the week of May 25, 2026, as part of the annual spring maintenance program. Flushing activities are expected to continue through to the week of June 15, 2026.

Waste Connections has advised that garbage collection could not be completed in the Township of Asphodel-Norwood on May 22, 2026. Collection will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
