McCarthy's Point Road will be closed on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to noon for a cross-culvert replacement. Affected residents have received hand-delivered notices outlining the closure and parking arrangements.

The Water & Wastewater Department will begin fire hydrant flushing on Monday, October 19, 2026, as part of the annual fall maintenance program. Work is expected to continue for approximately three weeks.

County Road 40, between Wellington Street and Albine Street, will be closed to complete the remaining sanitary sewer upgrades beneath the railway tracks. This work could not be completed during the Stage 1 closure this summer due to the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) labour dispute.

Asphodel 8th Line, between Centre Line and the Trent Hills–Asphodel-Norwood municipal boundary in Hastings, will be temporarily closed to through traffic for a culvert installation on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Municipal Office will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labour Day. Garbage and recycling collection will continue as scheduled. The Transfer Station will be open on Saturday, September 5, and closed on Monday, September 7. Both branches of the Asphodel-Norwood Public Library will also be closed on September 7. CP Railway has advised that an emergency road closure is required for Asphodel 7th Line, between Hwy 7 and County Rd 8 to complete railway track repairs from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026.
