Civic Holiday Closure – Monday, August 3, 2026
The Municipal Office will be closed on Monday, August 3, 2026, for the Civic Holiday and will reopen on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
There are no changes to garbage or recycling collection. If your regular collection day is Monday, please place your materials at the curb by 7:00 a.m.
The Asphodel-Norwood Transfer Station and Public Library will also be closed on Monday, August 3, 2026.
County Road 40 Reconstruction Project
County Road 40 will be closed in stages to permit the replacement and upsizing of the sanitary sewer main.
Construction is scheduled to take place from June 15, 2026 to November 12, 2026. Traffic disruptions, temporary delays, and lane restrictions should be expected during this period.
2026 Municipal Election
The 2026 Municipal Election will take place on October 26, 2026.
