Mayor & Council

The Township of Asphodel-Norwood Council is comprised of a Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and three Councillors; all elected at large for a four-year term.  As one of the eight municipalities that comprise Peterborough County; the Mayor and Deputy Mayor sit on the Peterborough County Council, along with the Mayors and Deputy Mayors from the other lower-tier municipalities.  All members of Council also serve on a variety of Boards & Committees that support Township operations.
