Tender 2026-01

The Township of Asphodel-Norwood plans to enter into a contractual arrangement for the replacement of approximately 42 water services and the installation of 2 fire hydrants along Highway No. 7, from the western limits of the town to Cedar Street in the Village of Norwood. All work shall be completed on or before May 15, 2026.

All questions relating to the Tender shall be directed to the Manager of Water and Wastewater Operations Manager, before January 27, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. (clarification deadline).

Tenders clearly marked "Tender #2026-01 Water Services Upgrades Hwy. No. 7" will be received by the CAO located at 2357 County Road 45, Norwood, ON until Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. local time.

Tender 2026-02

The Township of Asphodel–Norwood plans to enter into a contractual arrangement for the supply and delivery of one (1) 2026 One Ton Pickup Truck Complete with a minimum 9’ 2” “V” Plow and Poly Sander unit. A provisional item has been included of seeking a lightly used low kilometer truck of the same or closest specification as well.

All questions relating to the Tender shall be directed to the Manager of Public Works and Environmental Services, before February 4, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. (clarification deadline).

Tenders clearly marked "Tender #2026-02 · 2026 One Ton 4X4 Pickup Truck Complete with Plow and Sander Unit" will be received by the CAO located at 2357 County Road 45, Norwood, ON until Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. local time.

Tender 2026-03

The Township of Asphodel-Norwood plans to enter a contractual arrangement for placement of a double layer of surface treatment on:

• Asphodel 8th Line from 200m south of Highway 7 to Centre Line,
• Asphodel 7th Line from Sand Road to Centre Line, and
• A portion of Baker Street from the end of the existing surface treatment to the end of the turnaround.

All questions relating to the Tender shall be directed to the Manager of Public Works and Environmental Services, before February 11, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. (clarification deadline).

Tenders clearly marked “Tender #2026-03 · 2026 Surface Treatment Program” will be received by the CAO located at 2357 County Road 45, Norwood, ON until Monday, February 16, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. local time.

Tender 2026-05

The Township of Asphodel-Norwood plans to enter a contractual arrangement for the purchase and placement of 5/8 (Type M) gravel within the Township on roads identified in the Capital Budget for surface treatment:

• Asphodel 8th Line from 100m south of Highway 7 to Centre Line (approx. 2,400 tonnes)
• Asphodel 7th Line from Sand Road to Centre Line (approx. 2,400 tonnes)

All work shall be completed on or before June 1, 2026.

Tenders clearly marked “Tender #2026-05 · Gravel Crushing 2026” will be received by the CAO located at 2357 County Road 45, Norwood, ON until Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. local time.
