The Township of Asphodel-Norwood holds a municipal election every four (4) years to elect its Mayor and Council as well as School Board Trustees. The next Municipal and School Board Election is on Monday, October 26, 2026.

The Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) is offering a series of free virtual education workshops for individuals considering a run for municipal office in the October 2026 municipal elections. These sessions provide valuable information on what to expect as a candidate and as an elected official.

If you are a resident, owner, or tenant of property in the Township of Asphodel-Norwood, a Canadian citizen, and at least 18 years of age, you are eligible to vote.
