Municipal Office Closure & Victoria Day 2026 Service Updates

Please note the following service updates for the Victoria Day long weekend:

Municipal Office Closure – Victoria Day

The Municipal Office will be closed on Monday, May 18, 2026 in observance of Victoria Day. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.

Curbside Recycling & Garbage Collection

There will be no changes to curbside garbage or recycling collection schedules.

Leaf & Yard Waste Collection

Leaf and yard waste collection will continue as scheduled.

Transfer Station

The Transfer Station will be open on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and closed on Monday, May 18, 2026 for Victoria Day. 

Norwood Market – Opening Day

Residents are invited to attend the first Norwood Market of the 2026 season on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 42 Victoria Street, Norwood.
