The Medical Centre is closed for lunch from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Wednesday, the Medical Centre closes at noon.
After-Hours Medical Services
The Asphodel-Norwood Medical Centre participates in the Greater Peterborough Family Health Organization’s Extended Hours Clinic Program, which provides rostered patients with access to after-hours medical care.
Clinic locations vary. Call 705-743-7632 to ask about appointment availability and confirm the clinic location before travelling.

Background
Access to family healthcare is a priority for our community. In response to resident feedback identifying healthcare access as their top concern for the future, the Township of Asphodel-Norwood entered into a lease agreement for a medical facility at the Trillium Medical Campus, located at 17 Spruce Street in Norwood.
The 4,028-square-foot facility was designed to accommodate a team of physicians and a nurse practitioner, with flexibility to support additional specialty services in the community.
The Asphodel-Norwood Medical Centre officially opened at this location on March 7, 2024.
