Reduced Load Restrictions Lifted – Effective May 1, 2026

The Township of Asphodel-Norwood advises that all reduced load restrictions on municipal roads will be lifted for the season effective May 1, 2026.

Reduced load restrictions are implemented annually during the spring thaw, when roads are more susceptible to damage as frost leaves the ground. Limiting heavy vehicle loads during this period helps preserve road conditions and minimize costly repairs.

The Township thanks residents, businesses, and haulers for their cooperation in respecting these restrictions and helping to protect local infrastructure.
