County Road 40 Reconstruction Project

Residents are advised that the County Road 40 Reconstruction Project (from Wellington Street to Albine Street) is scheduled to begin June 29, 2026, and will require a full road closure for approximately six (6) weeks. The roadway is expected to reopen mid-August, weather permitting.

Site preparation activities may begin in advance of the construction start date.

Project Details

This project involves sanitary sewer upgrades to increase system capacity and support future development in the area.

Traffic Impacts

County Road 40 will be affected by a full road closure during the construction period. Detours will be established and clearly signed once finalized. 

Residents and motorists should plan for significant traffic impacts throughout the duration of the project.
