County Road 40 Reconstruction Project

County Road 40 will be closed in stages to permit the replacement and upsizing of the sanitary sewer main.

Construction is scheduled to take place from June 15, 2026 to November 12, 2026. Traffic disruptions, temporary delays, and lane restrictions should be expected during this period.

Call for Nominations: 2026 Community Recognition Award

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Community Recognition Award.

Sponsored by the late Jack and Marguerite Stewart, the Community Recognition Award celebrates individuals or groups from the Township of Asphodel-Norwood who have made a meaningful impact in the community.

Whether through positive contributions, inspiring achievements, volunteer service, or bringing honour to the Township, this award recognizes those who help make Asphodel-Norwood a better place to live.

Nomination Deadline

Nominations will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

How to Submit a Nomination

Nominations may be submitted online using the Community Recognition Award nomination form.

Award Presentation

The 2026 Community Recognition Award will be presented during the Norwood Fair opening ceremonies on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
