2026 Fall Decorating Challenge

Celebrate the season by taking part in the Asphodel-Norwood Cultural and Heritage Committee’s annual Fall Decorating Challenge.

The former Scarecrow Challenge has been refreshed and expanded! The challenge is open to residents and businesses located within the Township of Asphodel-Norwood, and scarecrows are still more than welcome in your fall display.

How to Participate

Register by Wednesday, September 30, 2026:

• Register online for the Fall Decorating Challenge; or
• Visit the Municipal Office or either Asphodel-Norwood Public Library branch.

The Committee will judge the registered displays on Thursday, October 1, 2026, and prizes will be awarded to the top three (3) displays.

A Self-Guided Fall Display Tour Map featuring all registered displays will be available on the Township’s website by Friday, October 9, 2026, just in time for Thanksgiving weekend.
