Sewer Cleaning and Inspection Work Beginning March 4, 2026

The Township of Asphodel-Norwood advises residents that Quinte Sewer has been contracted to carry out sewer cleaning and inspection work beginning Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

The work will start in the following areas:

• Birch Street

• Maple Avenue

• Maple Avenue East

• Spruce Street

The project is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.

The Township’s Water and Wastewater Department will make every effort to minimize disruptions; however, residents should be aware that temporary inconveniences may occur during the cleaning process. High-pressure equipment is used and may occasionally result in splashing in toilets, particularly those located in basements or on first floors. Residents are encouraged to keep toilet lids closed while work is underway.

The Township apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of affected residents.
