The 2026 Municipal Election will take place on October 26, 2026.

Make sure you’re on the voters’ list. Elections Ontario maintains the Permanent Register of Electors used for municipal elections, and it’s quick and easy to check or update your information online.

Easter Holiday 2026 - Waste Collection & Facility Updates

Please note the following service changes for the Easter holiday weekend:

Good Friday – April 3, 2026

  • Garbage collection will move to Saturday, April 4

  • No change to recycling collection

Easter Monday – April 6, 2026

  • No change to garbage or recycling collection

  • The Asphodel-Norwood Transfer Station will be closed

Municipal Office Closure
The Municipal Office will be closed on April 3 and April 6, 2026.
