Notice to Residents and Vendors – Canada Post Service Disruption

With the ongoing Canada Post strike, the Township of Asphodel-Norwood reminds residents who usually receive bills or notices by mail that payments must still be made on time. To avoid late charges, residents are encouraged to use one of the following options:

Payment Options

• Sign up for e-billing

• Enroll in Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP)
  (Complete the application form and submit it with a void cheque to the Municipal Office. The form can be found under the Utility (Water & Wastewater) Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP) Plan drop-down.)

• Contact the Municipal Office directly
  For account updates or payment arrangements.

Vendors

Vendors who typically receive payment by cheque through the mail are encouraged to register for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to avoid delays. Please contact finance@antownship.ca for details.

Water & Wastewater Billing

Water and wastewater invoices for the August–September billing cycle will be issued the week of October 6, 2025, with a due date of November 14, 2025.
