Notice of Public Hearing - Minor Variance File No. A02-2026

The Township of Asphodel-Norwood Committee of Adjustment will consider a Minor Variance Application (File No. A02-2026) for the property located at 1240 Heather Glen Road, Hastings, ON.

Purpose of the Application:
The applicant is seeking relief from the Township’s Zoning By-law 2009-08, as amended, to decrease the front yard setback of 6 metres (19.7’) to 3.96 metres (13’) to allow for the construction of a mud room addition.

This hearing is being held under Section 45 of the Planning Act. Members of the public are invited to attend and share their views. Written comments may also be submitted in advance to the Committee Secretary-Treasurer.

• Recorded meetings will be posted on the Township’s YouTube channel as soon as possible after the hearing.

• A copy of the Committee’s decision will be provided to the applicant and to anyone who participates in the hearing and requests notice in writing.
