Notice of Intention to Adopt the 2026 Municipal Operating & Capital Budgets

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Asphodel-Norwood intends to adopt the below budgets at its regular meeting scheduled for:

Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.
Asphodel-Norwood Community Centre – Millennium Room · 88 Alma Street

Council will consider the adoption of:

• The 2026 Municipal Operating & Capital Budgets; and
• The 2026 Norwood Water Department Rates, the 2026 Norwood Sanitary Department Rates, and the 2026 Trentview Estates Distribution System Rates.

The budgets are being adopted in accordance with Section 290 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25.

Public Attendance

Members of the public are always welcome to attend the meeting in-person or view the meeting recording via the Township of Asphodel-Norwood’s YouTube channel.

Public Comments

Public comments will not be accepted during the meeting unless a delegation request is submitted in accordance with the Township’s Procedural By-law (No. 2024-44).

Agenda materials, including the budget presentation materials, will be available on the Township website the Friday prior to the meeting: www.antownship.ca/meetings
