Road Closures
Municipal511 is a map-based road information management and communication service highlighting road closures, construction, and reduced load restrictions.
Load restrictions
During the spring thaw, some Township roads may become too soft and unstable to withstand the weight of a fully loaded truck, regardless of the axles. In an effort to reduce damage to the roads during the spring thaw, load restrictions are imposed typically from March 1 to April 30 each year to to protect the Township's road network when roads are most vulnerable to heavy vehicle damage.
During this period of time:
- Vehicles are restricted to load limits of 5 tonnes per axle
- There is limited truck and transport access to these areas
Parking
