Road Closure Notice: Centre Line on September 11, 2024
Centre Line in the Township of Asphodel-Norwood will be closed on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from County Road 45
to Asphodel 10th Line between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM for Shuttle Tanker Accreditation testing by the Asphodel-Norwood Fire and Rescue Department.
This formal test is for their Superior Tanker Shuttle Service accreditation, which ensures our Fire Department can maintain a continuous water supply for firefighting in rural areas and may help reduce property insurance premiums for homes within 8 km of an accredited station. Please check with your insurance provider to see if this is applicable.
Expect increased fire department activity between the hydrant at Alma Street and County Road 45, extending to approximately 1576 Centre Line, between County Road 45 and the 10th Line of Asphodel.
Local traffic will still have access, but we encourage you to avoid Centre Line if possible to help ensure a smooth and safe testing process.
