Please see the latest update from Drs. Ford and Cormier regarding exciting changes and upcoming developments at the Asphodel-Norwood Medical Centre.
Dear Patients,
We are excited to share some important updates with our community regarding the continued growth and evolution of the clinic.
First, we want to express our sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and patience you’ve shown as we have transitioned into our new clinic space and have taken on the care of Dr. Keogh’s nearly two thousand patients.
Welcoming Dr. Ryan Hutcheson
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Ryan Hutcheson will be joining our clinic very soon! As we continue to grow, Dr. Hutcheson will begin caring for a portion of our patients to ensure we provide the best service possible. Approximately 650 patients will be transferred to Dr. Hutcheson’s care through a random selection process. We’ll do our best to keep close family members together as we make these transitions. If you are selected to transfer to Dr. Hutcheson’s roster, you will be notified by mail and will need to come to the clinic to sign a roster transfer form at your convenience.
Dr. Hutcheson will also start accepting new patients from the Township’s waiting list on a monthly basis. If you are on the waiting list, you will be contacted with details about the process and help schedule an initial appointment with Dr. Hutcheson, if necessary.
Exciting Personal News for Drs. Ford and Cormier
Drs. Ford and Cormier are expecting their first child - a baby girl! - due in March 2025. Both doctors will be taking parental leave around this time, but they want to reassure everyone that a locum physician will be available to cover their practice for the duration of the leave. Rest assured, there will always be a doctor available to care for you.
- Dr. Cormier will return to the clinic in early-summer 2025, to cover the whole practice, while cutting back on his Emergency Room work.
- Dr. Ford plans to return in 2026, once she and the baby are ready.
Looking Ahead
Again, we want to thank everyone for the kind welcome and ongoing support as our family medicine clinic continues to grow.
Sincerely,
Drs. Ford and Cormier
