Asphodel-Norwood Hosts Launch of "The Local Advantage - With Peterborough County" Program

The Township of Asphodel-Norwood is excited to partner with Peterborough County’s Economic Development and Tourism teams for the launch of The Local Advantage - With Peterborough County Business Series Program. This monthly drop-in series is designed to connect local businesses and entrepreneurs with valuable resources and networking opportunities to help grow their businesses.

The first session will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Millennium Room of the Asphodel-Norwood Community Centre. The session will be held in an open-house format, offering attendees the chance to meet with representatives from Peterborough County’s Economic Development and Tourism Office, Community Futures Peterborough, and the Peterborough and Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to bring economic development and tourism support directly to local communities. Future sessions will occur on the third Tuesday of each month at the Asphodel-Norwood Community Centre.
