| Rules and Regulations |
The following rules and regulations are posted at the site for user safety and enjoyment.
Use at your own risk.
- Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Victoria Day through Labour Day, weather permitting. Times and dates may be adjusted, if necessary, by the Township of Asphodel-Norwood.
- Children must be actively supervised at all times.
- No climbing, hanging, swinging or pulling on any splash pad feature is allowed.
- Do not put your eyes in direct contact with a geyser or water spray device; and DO NOT sit on any geyser or drain.
- Water is chlorinated and re-circulated through a filtration system and is not intended for drinking.
- Exit splash pad area immediately and seek cover upon first sign of thunder, lightning or severe weather.
- Please be courteous to others, NO foreign objects or pets are permitted on the splash pad.
- Appropriate swim attire is required to enter the splash pad area, swim diapers are required for non-toilet trained children. Please do not use the splash pad if you have an open sore, rash or are ill (fever, diarrhea, vomiting).
- Washrooms are available at the Community Centre.
Splash pad is regularly inspected and maintained by the Township of Asphodel-Norwood. Should you notice damage or other hazards on or near the equipment, please call and report concerns to 705-639-2342 / 705-761-0299.
