Help us recognize the success and achievements of our Asphodel-Norwood community members by nominating a deserving individual, business, organization, or group who are proud to call Asphodel-Norwood home.

Award Categories |
Agricultural Leadership |
Recognizes the leadership of an individual or group for their agricultural improvements, promotion of rural lifestyles, or assistance in agricultural events and activities. |
Business Excellence (Retail) |
Celebrates a business in the retail sector for their outstanding performance and high standard of excellence in the customer experience. |
Business Excellence (Service) |
Celebrates a business in the service sector for their outstanding performance and high standard of excellence in the customer experience. |
Business of the Year |
Recognizes a business leader who demonstrated excellence in the industry, with product quality and an exceptional entrepreneurial spirit. |
Community Impact |
Recognizes an individual or group for their community spirit, leadership, and service in the name of progress. |
Entrepreneur |
Celebrates a new business for the achievements in implementing a vision, overcoming the challenges and launching their brand. |
Good Neighbour |
Recognizes the simple acts of human kindness that occurs between neighbours and works towards creating a vibrant and connected neighbourhood that embodies the friendly town. |
Mayor’s Award |
An annual recognition award that celebrates (or recognizes) an individual, business, group or organization that has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to making Asphodel-Norwood a better place today and for future generations. |
Non-Profit Organization |
Recognizes a not-for-profit organization for their excellence in serving and bettering the community. |
Outstanding Youth |
Honours a person aged 19 years or younger for an exceptional contribution to the community. |
Senior of the Year |
Recognizes an outstanding person aged 55 years and older who enriches the social, cultural, or civic life of the community. |

Award Eligibility & Conditions |
- Nominations are limited to individuals, businesses, organizations, or groups who reside in, operate in, or contribute to the Township of Asphodel-Norwood;
- Self nominations are accepted;
- A nominee may be nominated for a maximum of two (2) categories, provided the criteria is applicable to the nominee;
- Present members of Council and Township staff are ineligible for nominations; and
- All nominees must confirm acceptance of their nomination and complete a Nomination Questionnaire to assist the steering committee in making their decision. Failure to do so will make the nomination null and void. Questionnaires will be sent to nominees upon receipt of nomination application.

- Download the Nomination Package (258 KB). For a hardcopy, please call or e-mail the Municipal Office.
- Send completed Nomination Form before 11:59 p.m. June 30, 2022 by any of the following methods:
