For after hours assistance contact Telehealth at 1-866-797-0000 or TTY number at 1-866-797-0007. Telehealth is a free, confidential service you can call to get health advice or information. A Registered Nurse will take your call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Do you need to get tested for COVID-19?
If you think you have COVID-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has it, use this self-assessment tool to help determine if you need to seek further care. You can also take it on behalf of someone else and will be provided with information on what to do next.
Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC), Assessment Centre offers testing 7 days per week. To book an appointment, please call 705-876-5086. In-home testing may also be arranged by calling Peterborough Public Health at 705-743-1000. It is important that you do not visit a COVID-19 assessment centre unless you have received a referral from a healthcare provider.
Have you been tested and not sure what to do next?
If you were tested at the PRHC, the Assessment Centre staff will contact you with your results as soon as they become available.
If you were tested at a different location, you can access your results through the Ministry of Health website (you will require your health cared number). Please note that it can take 2 to 6 business days from your test date to receive your results. If you don't have internet or a health care, please contact the Health Unit at 705-743-1000 for support with accessing your results.
Are you an Unattached Patient that needs access to care during COVID-19?
Peterborough Virtual Care Clinic (PVCC) in Peterborough City and the Peterborough Family Health Team (PFHT) Clinic located in Lakefield will continue to provide care to our unattached population during this time.
Patients seeking care are asked to call to book an appointment. Please note that walk-ins will NOT be accepted. The hours of the clinics will flex day to day dependent on COVID-19 precautions as well as demand. Where possible, appointments will take place virtually (either via phone or OTN video conference) in an effort to limit in-person contact. These clinics are available to any residents of Peterborough City or County who do not have access to a local primary care provider. As per policy, narcotic prescriptions are not available to any patients who seek care at these clinics.

Are you a patient of Dr. Keogh in Norwood?
Dr. Keogh is in the office, taking calls and if necessary seeing patients by appointment only. The office of Dr. Keogh is available by phone, 705-639-2245.
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings
Blood tests are still occurring if necessary and Dr. Keogh encourages patients to attend for antenatal visits and routine vaccinations.
