The goal of the Township of Asphodel-Norwood Culture and Heritage Committee is to ensure the history of the community and area is retained for future generations. The Heritage Centre holds has an extensive collection of artifacts, newspapers, genealogies, photographs, history, and records at 1818 Asphodel 3rd Line in the hamlet of Westwood.
The Asphodel-Norwood Cultural and Heritage Committee (ANCHC) has hosted several successful community events including:
- Brides of the Town and Township;
- One Room School House;
- Barn Project and Quilt Turning;
- The Old Fashioned Christmas; and
- Trees and Twilight.
