The Township is excited to announceAdult Public Skatingis available every Tuesday morning in December for $2/skater, starting December 6, 2022 at the Asphodel-Norwood Community Centre!
- Tuesday December 6 · 10:00-11:30 am
- Tuesday December 13 · 10:00-11:30 am
- Tuesday December 20 · 10:00-11:30 am
- Tuesday December 27 · 11:00 am-12:00 pm
The 2023 schedule for adult public skating will be announced later in the month.

TAKE NOTICEthat the Corporation of the Township of Asphodel-Norwood intends to adopt the 2023 Municipal Operating and Capital Budgets, the 2023 Norwood Water Department Budget, the 2023 Norwood Sanitary Department Budget, and the 2023 Trentview Estates Distribution System Budget at an in-person meeting of Council being held:

Notice to Residents
The Township will be conducting roadside brushing activities beginning in December of 2022 through to April 2023 on various municipal roads. This work will be weather dependent and activities may be postponed if conditions are not conducive to completing the work.
The purpose of this work is to keep our roads free and clear of any sightline obstructions and to enhance public safety. Work will involve Township staff and a roadside brushing machine to remove any overgrowth....

2022 - 2026 Term of Council

Congratulations to the 2022-2026 Term of Council.
The Inaugural Council meeting was held November 22, 2022 with members sworn-in to serve the community for the 2022-2026 term.
Special thanks to Chief Laurie Carr of Hiawatha First Nation for bringing indigenous teachings and a smudging ceremony to the occasion.
