Free Compost Material Event: May 11, 2024

Norwood, Ontario – The Township of Asphodel-Norwood invites residents to pick up, free of charge, compost material at a special upcoming collection event offered by the County of Peterborough.
When: Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. until supplies last
Where: Public Works Yard | 4440 Hwy 7
Note: Residents should bring a shovel and pail to collect compost material. Quantities are first-come, first served.
Hydrant Flushing Notice - Spring 2024

This notice is regarding the Norwood Water System and the Trentview Estates Water System.
The Water & Wastewater Department will begin flushing hydrants the week of May 6-10, 2024 as part of their spring maintenance program.
During this process, customers may experience a difference in water pressure as well as some discolouration in the water. Should this occur, residents are encouraged to run cold water until it clears to prevent sediment from being introduced into your hot water heater; and also...
