Load Restrictions Lifted: April 15, 2024

Load restrictions for the Township of Asphodel-Norwood have been lifted, effective Monday, April 15, 2024.
Under the Highway Traffic Act, the province enforces reduced load restrictions on trucks to protect Ontario's roadways during the spring thaw, when road damage is most likely to occur.

The Township is pleased to introduce its Municipal Scholarship Program for graduating Norwood District Intermediate & High School students who will be attending a Canadian post-secondary institution in a program that will contribute to public service and is two (2) years or more in length.

The Municipal Office will be closed Good Friday (March 29, 2024) and Easter Monday (April 1, 2024) in observation of Easter. Regular office hours will resume 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
