Declaration of Significant Weather Event: January 12, 2024

Due to the severe winter conditions predicted to commence the evening of Friday January 12, 2024, the Township of Asphodel-Norwood is declaring a Significant Weather Event (SWE), as per Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 366/18 section 16.9; which amended to O. Reg. 239/02.

Employment Opportunity - Permanent, Part-Time Library Assistant

The Asphodel-Norwood Public Library is looking for a responsible and dedicated individual to take on the role of Library Assistant.

This is a permanent part-time position. The successful applicant will work approximately 6 hours per week and can expect to earn $18.84 per hour (Step 1 Band 2 of Asphodel-Norwood Salary grid). Shifts will involve evenings and weekends.
