[Asphodel-Norwood, ON] - Please be advised that Township crews will be conducting repairs on water services along Highway 7 tomorrow, Wednesday, June 26, 2024, between the traffic lights at County Rd 40 and Victoria St.

Work is expected to commence first thing in the morning and last the day.

While two lanes of traffic will remain open on Highway 7, avoiding the area is recommended, if possible.

Notice of Water Leak: June 13, 2024

[Asphodel-Norwood, ON] - Please be advised there is a significant water leak on Hwy 7, stretching from County Road 40 to Elm Street.

Please try to avoid this area if possible. Repair crews are actively working on fixing the issue.

Additionally, residents on Hwy 7 between Cedar Street and County Road 40 might experience a temporary loss of water service.

The Township apologizes for any inconvenience caused and appreciates your patience as crews work to resolve the situation.

Outdoor Water Use By-law: In Effect June 1 - September 30

Pursuant to By-law 2023-30, outdoor water use restrictions come into effect June 1 – September 30 each year. 

The department manager has determined Program Level 1 will come into effect. This means lawn watering is allowed between: 7:00 am - 9:00 am and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm for:

• Odd-numbered addresses, may water on odd-numbered days; and
• Even-numbered addresses, may water on even-numbered days.
