Today · September 28 · marks Ontario's first ever Test Your Smoke Alarm Day - an effort to reduce the number of fatal fires in the province and the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs urges you to help spread the message.
Only working smoke alarms save lives and can ensure you are #SavedByTheBeep. In addition to testing your smoke detectors, remember to develop and test a home fire escape plan.

Leaf and Yard Collection will begin in October.
Village of Norwood residents:
Leaf and yard collection is organized by the County of Peterborough for village residents in the Township of Asphodel-Norwood. Residents are asked to have leaf and yard materials curbside by 7:00 a.m. on the Mondays below. Collection may occur any day from Monday to Friday, not necessarily on garbage or recycling day.
